Abstract

ABSTRACT             This article discusses the fact that lingo-folkloristics is a new direction of linguistics, its place in world linguistics, the entry of this term into science, and the opinions of scientists who have conducted research in this field. In particular, this term is associated with the name of A. T. Khrolenko, and the ideas that the first linguo-folkloristic observations appeared in Russian and English linguistics were reflected. The connection of linguo-folkloristics has been studied with a number of related disciplines: linguo-culturalism, dialectology, text linguistics, folk oral creativity, etc. Through the content of the article, it becomes clear that the study of the linguistic features of the text of folklore works is the object of linguo-folkloristics, and that such studies are carried out syncretically in Uzbek linguistics. Also, the article focuses on the difference between linguopoetics and linguofolkloristics, that linguopoetics acquires a general essence, that is, the tasks of linguopoetics are to analyze the linguistic features of a work created in any genre, to clarify its special features, and to systematize, while linguofolkloristics is a relatively specific term. it is emphasized that folklore works should appear as an object of research, at the same time, it is suggested that the principles of linguo-folkloristic analysis should be developed in the study of the linguistic features of the text of folklore.
