Abstract

ABSTRACT

Verb – verbs of state in the Uzbek language have peculiar features of valence of locale. Since the local actant of these verbs is directly related to the state of the agent (sometimes the counterparty). The implementer of the valency of the localis denotes the place, the state of the agent occurring, characterizes the states in relation to the place, due to its expression of local relationship, therefore it is semantically functionally active, independent. The form of a word that realizes the valency of the locale in constructions is fixed in the main locative case. Consequently, the locative formant is a typical categorical form that forms the realizer of the locality of stativeverbs in speech. The word implementing the valency of the locale can occur in sentences in postpositional forms. Afterwards, the nested forms implementing the valence of the localis differ in speech activity, forming a contextual synonym with a typical word form, realizing the local actant. The valence of localis is observed in state verbs with integral semes “duration”, “result of action”, “execution”, “imagery”, “physiological” and “mental”.

Key words: valence of localis, local actant, locative, postpositional nouns, place.
