THE EVOLUTION OF THE INFORMATION SOCIETY: LEGAL ASPECTS AND CHALLENGES IN THE DIGITAL AGE

This article examines the international legal foundations and national mechanisms for protecting human informational rights in the context of the development of information and communication technologies (ICT). Special attention is given to analyzing the problems and prospects of legal regulation of informational rights in the Republic of Uzbekistan. The key principles of ensuring human rights to information, the role of international organizations and legal norms, as well as the main challenges faced by Uzbekistan in this field, are discussed. The conclusion offers recommendations for improving legal regulation and practical protection of informational rights.
