LEGAL MECHANISMS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION BY THE BODIES OF CITIZENS’ SELF-GOVERNMENT

This article analyzes the role and significance of citizens' self-governing bodies in public
administration processes. In Uzbekistan's legislation, these structures are recognized as important
subjects in social governance, with their legal status and powers clearly defined. The article highlights
areas such as addressing socio-economic issues through mahalla citizens’ assemblies, cooperation in
maintaining public order, and supporting vulnerable social groups. The role of the mahalla system in
democratic governance is revealed through modern forms of citizen-based management, international
experience, and scholarly perspectives
