DIGITALIZATION AND WOMEN'S ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN UZBEKISTAN: LEGAL ASPECTS, CHALLENGES, AND PROSPECTS

In the context of the digital transformation of society, a new legal reality is being formed, in which women's entrepreneurship occupies a significant place. The digital economy opens up new forms of participation in civil circulation for women, including through e-commerce, fintech platforms and online services. At the same time, the current civil and business legislation of Uzbekistan only partially covers the specifics of regulating electronic transactions, electronic platforms and remote forms of business, which limits the legal inclusion of women. The objective of the study is to analyze the legal nature of digital women's entrepreneurship as an institution of private law, identify gaps in the current legislation and justify the need to develop comprehensive legal regulation measures. The scientific novelty of the work lies in systematizing the results of semi-structured interviews with women entrepreneurs operating on digital platforms, as well as in developing proposals to improve the civil law regulation of their legal status, contractual relations and protection against the risks of the online environment. The practical significance of the study lies in the formulation of proposals for: clarifying the legal regime of electronic contracts and digital transactions; creating mechanisms for legal protection of women entrepreneurs in the implementation of e-commerce; expanding access to financial and educational digital resources within the framework of business law; integrating the principles of gender equality into private law regulation. The results of the study can be used in legislative activities, in the practice of law enforcement agencies, in the work of business incubators and educational institutions, as well as in the further development of the doctrine of civil and business law.
