IMPROVING THE CLASSIFICATION CRITERIA FOR THE GENERAL CONDITIONS OF A PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATION

This scientific article examines in detail the main issues such as the classification of the general conditions of the preliminary investigation, the criteria for their systematization, the powers of the officials authorized to conduct the preliminary investigation, the jurisdiction of the criminal case, the timing of the investigation, the participation of witnesses in procedural actions, ensuring the secrecy of the investigation, and the activities of the investigator group. The article also develops specific proposals for further improving the criminal procedure legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the best practices of foreign countries.
