IMPROVING CRIMINAL LIABILITY MEASURES FOR FAILURE TO REPORT A CRIME AND ITS CONCEALMENT

This article analyzes the issues of criminal liability for failure to report a crime and its concealment, as provided for in Article 241 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The objective and subjective features of the elements of a crime, the person's clear knowledge of the crime, and the issues of distinguishing these acts from complicity in the crime are highlighted. This article also puts forward proposals for improving current legislation and further improving the practice of qualifying these acts.
