The article analyzes practical and theoretical questions regarding the procedure for the removal of electronic messages and other information contained in information and communication networks. Based on the results of the analysis, the author developed proposals for improving the norms of the national criminal procedure legislation, as well as an analysis of current scientific research on the investigation of crimes in the field of computer information.
