Based on the experience of European countries and the United States of America, examined methods of regulating venture investment. This study is an analysis of the legal relationships that arise in connection with venture capital investment. In particular, in this work definitions of venture investment, venture investment transactions are given, the place of legal regulation of venture investment in the system of legal regulation of innovations is established, public law regulation of venture investment and regulation of private law relations in the field of venture investment are characterized
