The solution of economic and other problems facing Uzbekistan largely depends on the intellectual potential of society and its level of cultural development. Science, culture and technology, in turn, can only thrive under the right conditions. This, of course, includes the enactment of measures in the legislation to regulate and protect intellectual property in accordance with the emerging market relations in our country. In particular, the development of intellectual property relations in Uzbekistan is impossible without their criminal protection. In order to assess how to organize this criminal defense, how to improve it, to assess the urgency of this improvement, it is necessary first of all to study and, if necessary, apply the experience of foreign countries in this area, as well as to determine general trends in the fight against intellectual property crimes in the international community.
