In the article the author analyzes the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 10, 2020 No.UP-6041 “On measures to further strengthen guarantees for the protection or personal rights and freedoms in judicial investigative activities” and related changes in criminal procedure legislation, the introduction of international standards and advanced foreign experience in the activities of investigative agencies and courts, further strengthening the power of lawyers, organizational and other measures to strengthen the material and technical base of investigative agencies.
