THE ROLE OF DECENTRALIZATION REFORMS IN IMPROVING THE EFFICIENCY OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION

This article examines the issues of modernization of the public administration system and the essence of decentralization reforms in the context of administrative reforms. At the same time, the main objectives and significance of the implemented phased reforms aimed at the formation of effective public administration based on the Development Strategy of the Republic of Uzbekistan are analyzed. The article also examines the legal experience of using the institution of decentralization, the transfer of powers from the central government to lower units or deregulation, analyzes the possibilities of regulation through other control mechanisms, as well as the formation of the ir development of self-government bodies based on the implementation of the principles of decentralization.
