THE FIGHT AGAINST TORTURE IS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN GUARANTEEING OF HUMAN RIGHTS

This scientific article deals with the problems of freedom from torture considered one of the most universally recognized human rights. Relevant recommendations have been developed as well. It also refers to torture and related concepts, documents on the protection of human rights at the international level and their analysis, amendments and additions to criminal and Criminal Procedure legislation, as well as international criminal responsibility. The article also contains information about the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (commonly known as the United Nations Convention against Torture (UNCAT)).
