ISSUES RELATED TO THE DETECTION OF FRAUD COMMITTED USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

The article provides information on the concept, types, methods and modern forms of fraud committed through the use of information technology. Additionally, from a scientific, theoretical and legal point of views, issues related to the detection of fraud committed with the use of information technology are analysed based on the opinions and considerations of leading scientists, identifying the particular attributes of certain types of crimes. To conclude, suggestions and recommendations on forensic and operative search activities directed at the early detection and disclosure of such crimes have been prepared.
