Today, changes in the legal system of developed foreign countries are aimed at facilitating the serving of sentences by convicts against the background of the development of the principles of justice and humanity in the penal system, as well as the expansion of human rights, assigning them reasonable punishment measures, and supporting their post-sentence socialization. is finding its expression. In many foreign countries, the task of improving the legal regulations related to serving sentences without separating the convict from society has been one of the main directions of criminal law. On this basis, the place of correctional work, which is considered one of the types of punishment, in the criminal legislation of foreign countries, to determine the specific features of this type of punishment in the legal system of the countries, and to analyze the similar and different aspects between them in the further improvement of the penal system, its further improvement is important in its fair application.
