The article reflects the main components that reveal the content of the "fight against crime" activity - the purpose and strategies, directions, principles and factors that ensure the effectiveness of crime fighting activities. It was emphasized that crime-fighting activities are systematic activities covering complex processes such as the organization of crime-fighting activities, crime prevention and law enforcement. The differences between the concepts of law enforcement and human rights activities are also outlined.
