ISSUES OF ENSURING ELECTORAL LEGISLATION WITH INTERNATIONAL STANDARDS (FOREIGN AND NATIONAL EXPERIENCE)

Abstract

The article provides an overview of the comments and recommendations of OSCE / ODIHR observers on the results of the last elections (presidential and parliamentary) in different countries of the world, indicates the most frequent cases of violations and non-compliance with international electoral standards, identifies the most important trends in the development and improvement of the electoral process in the world. A number of recommendations were also put forward to improve the electoral legislation and the process to ensure full compliance of the electoral process in the country with international standards in the field of electoral law
