ANALYSIS OF REQUIREMENTS FOR OBTAINING THE STATUS OF A LAWYER AT THE STAGES OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE INSTITUTE OF LAWYERING IN THE REPUBLIC OF UZBEKISTAN

The article analyzes the stages of development of the institution of advocacy in our country and the requirements for acquiring the status of an advocate at these stages of development, based on the legislation of domestic and foreign countries, as well as on the opinions of legal scholars. The author has divided the periods that led to a fundamental change in the requirements for obtaining the status of a lawyer into five stages, and has specifically focused on the significant changes that took place during these stages. The scientific article also examines the possibilities of introducing positive experience of foreign countries into national legislation.
