Мақолада ХХРнинг Жаҳон Савдо Ташкилотига аъзо бўлиши арафасида интеллектуал мулк соҳасидаги ўз миллий қонунчилигини ташкилотнинг Интеллектуал мулкнинг савдо жиҳатларига оид битими (ТРИПС) нормаларига уйғунлаштириш жараёни ёритиб берилади. Бундан ташқари, мамлакатдаги интеллектуал мулк ҳуқуқлари муҳофазасининг бугунги кундаги ҳолати, унинг охирги ўнйилликда ИМ объектларининг барча турлари бўйича жаҳондаги етакчилик позициясига эришиши (БИМТнинг “World Intellectual Property Indicators” рейтинги маълумотлари таҳлили) ва ХХРнинг қароқчи давлатдан интеллектуал мулк ҳуқуқларини ҳурмат қилувчи давлатга айланиши зарурати ҳақида маълумотлар келтирилади. Мақоланинг хулоса қисмида эса ушбу битимни Ўзбекистон Республикаси қонунчилигига имплементация қилишда бу борадаги ХХР тажрибаси билан республикамиздаги мавжуд амалиёт солиштирилади.
