Abstract

In the study of risk factors for the development of pain in the lower back in workers of the automotive industry, it was found that an exacerbation of pain develops against the background of degenerative-dystrophic changes in the spine when combined with certain risk factors: work with a significant static and dynamic load on the muscles of the trunk, legs and arms, also lifting and moving weights, frequent and deep torso bends, twisting of the torso during work, forced working posture, as well as the effect of general vibration. In addition, hypothermia and chronic stressful situations were noted as a provoking risk factor. There is also an increase in back pain with an increase in the age and length of service of the employee.
