Автомобилсозлик ишчиларининг бел сохасидаги оғриқлар ривожланиши учун хавф омилларини ўрганишда, маълум бир хавф омиллари билан бирлашганда, умуртқа поғонасидаги дегенератив-дистрофик ўзгаришлар фонида оғриқнинг кучайиши аниқланган: оёқ ва кўл магистрал мускулларига сезиларли статик ва динамик юк бериш, шунингдек оғир жисмларни кўтариш ва харакатлантириш, тананинг тез-тез ва чуқур бурилишлари, иш жараёнида танадаги қалтис харакатлар, мажбурий иш холати, шунингдек умумий тебраниш таъсирида. Бундан ташқари, гипотермия ва сурункали стрессли вазиятлар қўзғгатувчи хавф омили сифатида қайд этилган. Шунингдек, ходимнинг ёши ва иш стажининг ошиши билан бел оғриғи кучаяди.
