Abstract

In national and global experiences, the development of youthinformation culture is an important condition for the development of modern society. In the conditions of rapid development of digital technologies, the formation of young people's skills in selecting, analyzing, evaluating and responsibly using information is becoming an urgent task. While in the national experience, spiritual and educational education, national values, and state information policy play an important role, in the global experience, the development of media literacy, digital security, and critical thinking is emerging as a priority. In this process, innovative educational methods, information resource centers, programs aimed at increasing Internet culture, and an ideological approach that combines national and universal values are of great importance. As a result, a generation of young people who are active, responsible, and critically thinking inthe information space is formed, which will serve the stable and safe  development of society. Therefore, this article analyzes the mechanisms for protecting young people from information threats and developing information culture in them.
