DISCOURSE ON THE ORIGIN OF IDIOMS IN THE NOVEL "QIYAMAT"

Enhancing the effectiveness of interlingual communication and developing high-quality translation systems based on computer technologies are among the pressing issues of today. Research conducted within the framework of the Uzbek National Corpus is gaining importance in such fields as translation theory and practice, bilingual lexicography, linguoculturology, and comparative linguistics.
This article discusses the characteristics of phraseological units in Russian–Uzbek literary texts within a parallel corpus, the ways they are interpreted during the translation process, their forms as phrases and sentences, their combinations within sentences, their structural differences, and the stylistic individuality of the translator.
