FORMATION, CAUSES, AND RISKS OF CRIMINAL SUBCULTURE IN THE COMBAT SPORTS ENVIRONMENT

The article provides a systematic analysis of the mechanisms of penetration, underlying causes, and criminological risks associated with criminal and destructive subcultures in the sports environment, particularly among youth engaged in combat sports. Based on sociological, psychological, and deviantological approaches, the study examines the terminological and theoretical-methodological essence of the concept of "subculture." It also highlights the threat of criminal subculture expanding beyond penitentiary institutions to turn sports clubs and fighting arenas into a "recruitment base" for organized crime, alongside the socio-economic and deprivational factors that draw young athletes into criminal networks. The author puts forward scientific and practical conclusions aimed at preventing criminogenic situations in the sports sector, securing socio-economic protection for young athletes, and improving operational-search prevention mechanisms.
