ENSURING THE RIGHTS OF NON-SPEAKING PROSESS PARTICIPANTS IN THE CRIMINAL PROCEEDINGS: NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL-LEGAL GUARANTEES

In the article, the concept and essence of the language of criminal proceedings in criminal proceedings, the role of the Uzbek language as the state language in the life of our country, ensuring the participation of an interpreter in the conduct of criminal proceedings and the requirements for it, the participants in the proceedings who have the right to be provided with an interpreter and the guarantees of ensuring their rights, regulatory legal documents and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, one of the important international documents ensuring the rights of translators, the language and regulations on interpreters, "not knowing" or "insufficiently understanding" the language of criminal proceedings, the concepts of "translation" and "interpreter", types of translation, requirements for interpreters and translators, participants in proceedings who have the right to be provided with an interpreter, nationality, conduct of criminal proceedings issues related to ensuring the rights of citizens who do not know or do not understand the language of the work participating in the process have been scientifically analyzed and appropriate proposals and conclusions have been put forward in this regard.
