Одам савдоси ва ноқонуний миграциянинг ўзаро фарқланувчи жиҳатларига оид илмий ёндашувлар ҳамда одам савдоси қурбонларини аниқлаш, ҳимоя қилиш ва ижтимоий реабилитация қилиш, шундай жиноятлар қурбонига айланган фуқароларга тиббий, психологик ва бошқа ёрдам кўрсатиш, одам савдосига алоқадор шахсларни тергов қилиш ва жавобгарликка тортиш, шунингдек, бундай жиноятларни содир этишга имкон бераётган шарт-шароитларни бартараф этиш ҳақида масалалар ёритилган.
