INSTITUTIONAL INFRASTRUCTURE OF LABOR DISPUTE MEDIATION: PROBLEMS AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

The article examines the issues of creating and developing institutional infrastructure for labor dispute mediation in the Republic of Uzbekistan. Foreign experience in organizing specialized mediation services and centers in the USA, Great Britain, Turkey and UAE is analyzed. Models of state, private and mixed mediation infrastructure, their advantages and disadvantages are considered. Problems of training professional mediators specializing in labor disputes, issues of financing and accessibility of mediation services are investigated. Based on comparative analysis, recommendations are formulated for creating an effective institutional system of labor dispute mediation in Uzbekistan.
